Korea has really pulled it together in some respects — namely food, drink and entertainment — though there are some areas that continue to be a source of conflict. We still have questions about the pressure Korea places on its already stressed out students, and are still not convinced of any long-term, institutional change on the gender equality front. Overall, however, there is a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to live and work in such a fascinating, evolving environment, and to continue to share these pages with Groove’s contributors.
