Kim Jaegon/Then aged 16/ National Foundation Medal (Mar. 1, 2020) [Dongsan. Yeosu/ From Nov. 15, 1914 to Oct. 7, 1961] In his second grade at Yeosu Public Fisheries School, he organized a secret book club with Yun Gyeonghyun and Yi Yonggi at Jonggosan mountain in March 1930, pursuing the independence of Korea. As he felt dissatisfied with the policy of Japanese imperialism to Korea and its colonial education. he came forward aggressively as a member of the 2nd unit of the second grade In September that year, he was caught and sent to jail by Japanese police Sentenced to one year prison and three years suspension of the indictment for violating the maintenance of the public order from Gwangju District Court on September 4, 1931, he got released from jail On August 24, 2020, Jeonnam National University, the former Yeosu Public Fisheries School, awarded him an honorary graduation certification.
