During his studies in abroad, Kin had never changed the appearance of a fighter for national independence. He participated in the International Congress against Colonial Oppression and Imperialism and let all the Europeans know the real aspects of Japan invasion of Korea. Through his speech and par ticipation in the International Congress against Colonial Oppression and Imperialism, Kin Fa-ling inf or med all the Eur opeans of Japanese invasion of Korea. Kin Fa-ling’s Brussels Address is considered to be the precious experience as the representative of Koreans to be removed from the passive attitude of b eing taught by his teacher and to be in the vanguard of the national independence movement for himself. The achievement of Kin Fa-ling’s lifetime which has been compensated for by historical material available in Europe holds considerable importance in the understanding of the history of Korean people in Europe in the 1920s. Besides, he is rated as a prominent figure who produced achievements not to be overlooked in illuminating the history of Korea Buddhist priest’s national movement home and abroad.
